I would have to say that I have been involved in photography as long as I can remember, that doesn't mean I'm any good but I remember one of my first toys was a broken Kodak my dad had. I love taking pictures and have been playing around with it for awhile but now I thought it would be a good idea for some formal education. I guess the best word to describe me and my art is conflicted. I have a friend in the industry in LA that told me you have to find a field of photography that you really like and learn it in a way that you can be original. This would set me apart from the rest of all the other hopeful photographers doing what I'm doing. The problem is I still have not figured that part out! I would love to shoot fashion as much as I would like to be embedded with troops in war but it's really hard to do both. And this is the shit that drives me crazy and really frustrates me. But until one day it hits me like a bolt of lightning from the sky, I will just have to keep searching. I also am somewhat evil when I take pictures. I like to break into abandoned buildings which gets me into trouble sometimes, but the pictures you can get doing so is fun. I also like taking pictures of the homeless, I don't do it in a mean way but they often don't understand and sometimes I get chased but I think it's important to chronicle the sign of the times.
